Jackie Esparza, ME, PE

Chief Executive Officer

Jackie Esparza has over a decade’s worth of experience in Structural Engineering and extensive experience managing design teams. Prior to founding Grandland Construction, she specialized in high-wind engineering design for residential and light commercial structures all over the Southeast. Working for some of the nation’s largest builders, she learned to manage the expectations and demands of high-volume residential construction. Jackie is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E) and graduated from the University of Florida with both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structures.

Jackie utilizes her organizational skills to set in place standards and processes across the team. By increasing the team’s consistency and efficiency, she has been able to provide both our clients and the building departments with familiar construction documents and quality engineering they can rely on. She believes that a great team of employees can make or break a business. As such, she puts great value on building personal relationships with each of her employees and actively recruiting to find the best team members.

When she isn’t managing Grandland Construction, you can find her riding horses. For over 25 years, she has been competing at a national and world level for Equestrian competitions. She is also a die-hard Florida Gators fan and enjoys going to football games with her husband Parker.

Adam Russell, PE

Vice President of Engineering

Adam Russell has over a decade’s experience in commercial and residential structural engineering. He began his career in the commercial cold-formed steel industry. During this time, he designed trusses, diaphragms, and lateral bracing systems before transitioning to residential structural design. He serves as the Engineer of Record for thousands of commercial and residential projects. Adam holds engineering licenses in FL, GA, TN, NC, SC, & ID.

Adam has become a leader in the residential wood framed and masonry industries throughout Florida. He is dedicated, detail oriented, and always has the customer’s best interest in mind. He specializes in assessing and finding quick and efficient solutions to field issues that might arise during the building process. His technical expertise has given him a trusted reputation with his clients and his team.

Outside of the office, Adam stays busy with his two children, Madilyn and Kellan. When he finds a free minute, he can be found working on his classic cars or taking apart things that aren’t broken.

Parker Esparza, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

Parker Esparza started his career in the aerospace industry designing repairs and modifications for several different types of naval aircraft. He worked his way up from an aerospace structures engineer to managing a team of engineers supporting the Navy’s trainer helicopters.

As his role shifted, he decided to go back to his alma mater, the University of Florida, to get an MBA and MS in Industrial Engineering. The knowledge gained from these degrees helps bridge the technical and business gap, allowing him to serve effectively as Grandland Construction’s CFO.

He is also a die-hard Florida Gators and Miami Jaguars fan and enjoys going to football games with his wife, Jackie.
